The Art of Bev Doolittle

In the early part of the 1980's my wife and I became captivated by the art of Bev Doolittle, and began collecting her work. The piece pictured here, "Pintos", was the very first Bev Doolittle limited edition lithograph that we purchased. And we were hooked. The closer we looked at her work, the more amazed we were by her incredible talent. The 1979 release of Pintos launched a career that has brought tens of thousands into the realm of collecting limited edition fine art.

Bev Doolittle, often called The Visual Storyteller has become one of America's most collected artists. Her camouflage art is loved by art collectors around the world. Through sheer force of talent and dedication, she has achieved a status in the art world few contemporary artists even dream of. Crowded with intricate visual detail, haunted by presences seen and unseen, her paintings captivate the viewer on many levels.

Bev Doolittle has retired from publishing art prints. Demand for her art has only grown with time, making it difficult, and sometimes impossible, to find a particular piece. Most are only available through the secondary markets and private collectors such as this one. I am offering more than 50 signed and numbered limited edition lithographs and giclés. Some of these pieces you won't find available anywhere else at this time.

Over the next 25 years we collected more than 50 pieces of Bev Doolittle's fine art. For the pieces that are framed, all materials used in framing are 100% conservative for the preservation of the artwork, including museum quality glass. Each piece was authenticated and the original Print Document is stored with the piece. Now my wife has passed away, I am moving to a much smaller home, and it's time to sell most of the collection. I have looked at the prices for each piece on the fine art Internet gallery web sites, and am asking 15% to 30% less than the average price for each piece. At your request, I can have pieces you are interested in authenticated again. Each piece will be professionally packed and insured. Please see the Questions section of this website for more information. There you will find an indexed list of all of the Bev Doolittle artwork that is for sale and clickable links to detailed information about each piece. If you have any questions I haven't answered there, don't hesitate to contact me.
